Shipping Methods

I aim to get all items out to you in one to two working days. If there is a delay I will send you a message to let you know what's happening.

Orders to be delivered to the UK:
'First Class signed for' is the standard post option available on the listings. 'Signed For' enables a record of delivery at the chosen destination (£2.20)

International Orders:
'Standard Air Mail' is the standard postal option available on the listings. For the United States this will be £5.00.
If you would like more security there is a 'Signed and Tracked' option available too which will be approximately £8.00/£9.00

I am not liable for customs costs.
_______________________________________________

My general feeling on postage is that if you are ordering one or two beads, the standard option should be sufficient. (although I do worry about my bead 'babies' until they have reached their new home, we haven't lost any in transit so far).

If you are ordering £30 worth of items or above, I would recommend using the upgraded shipping option. It means that there will be compensation available from the carrier and we will both get proper info. about where the package is.

All the beads I make are really one of a kind things, so even if I attempt to re-create a bead that has lost it's way in the delivery network, I might be able to get close but I will never be able to make the exact same item though!

Please make sure you write the delivery address clearly on the order form and check it twice!!

If you are unclear about anything postage-wise, just get in touch and I will be happy to answer your queries.

Easy Returns & Exchanges

I want all of my customers to be 100% happy with their purchases. If you have any problems at all, just send me a message and I will do my best to help.

General Items
I hope you enjoy wearing your pieces as much as I enjoyed making them. I have made them with love and care.

If looked after and treated well, your beads should give you years of joy.

Everything possible has been done to make my beads as durable as they can be; they have all been baked overnight in a kiln to make them as hard as nails (well almost!), but of course remember these beads are made from glass so contact with rough surfaces is to be particularly avoided (as is dropping them on to hard surfaces from high heights!)

If items are treated roughly (eg. thrown with force or dropped from a high height onto a concrete floor) and a breakage occurs I will not be able to replace the item free of charge. I anneal everything I sell to make my items as durable as they can be, but the fact remains they are made of glass and need to be treated accordingly.

Silver Core Beads
I hope you enjoy wearing them as much as I enjoyed making them.

I have put in a two piece sterling silver core into each bead by hand. The cores are fixed neatly with an incredibly tough epoxy adhesive, but I would still not recommend wearing them in the bath or when you go swimming as I don’t think that will do the glass, the silver or the resin adhesive much good!

To look after your beads, treat them gently and they should give you years of joy. They would be grateful for an occasional polish with a silver cloth to bring them back to a shine and keep them smiling.

A further note: (I can't believe I have to put this in but here goes!)
If items get lost once in your care, (for example earrings) I'm afraid I cannot replace them free of charge. Once the item is delivered it becomes yours, and is you the customer's responsibility.

However, If you have lost a particular item that you really cared for, I will try to reproduce it for you. The price for this will be on a bespoke basis and depends on the item in question. It will be treated like a new custom order. Just please message me if you have a particular requirement.
